Our mango wood is harvested from the mango plantations. The old mango fruit trees that have stopped producing fruits are selectively cut down and young seedlings are planted in their place in order to maintain the sustainability of the orchard.
Mango wood is hard and dense, it is also heavy and strong. It has a distinct colour variation and various grain textures that give it an unmistakable character.
Our mango wood furniture is hand planed and handcrafted using solid wood just like it was done 100 years ago. Each piece is meticulously made by skilled Indonesian craftsmen, one piece at a time. They are so unique that some of our customers feel like they are owning a piece of funtional ART, instead of just another furniture.
